The status tabs on the Jobs screen in Steddy, each with a count: Ongoing, Scheduled, On hold, Quote sent, Completed and Cancelled.
Every job sits under one of six tabs on the Jobs screen, rebuilt from the app. Sample counts.

Where each job stands

Scheduled
Booked for a date and a time window.
Ongoing
The tech has started it.
On hold
Paused. When the tech pauses it, they pick a reason: waiting on parts, return visit needed, customer not home.
Quote sent
A quote is with the customer and not yet approved. After it's sent, the tech can leave the job here and move on.
Completed
Done. Close the job and Steddy writes the invoice. The job shows unpaid, partly paid or paid as the money comes in.
Cancelled
With the reason recorded.

Once a job is completed or cancelled, only an admin can change it.

What's on the job

The activity log
Changes to the job's details, with the time. The tech accepting it, heading off, arriving and finishing. Those four steps also show on the job's progress card, each with its time. The quote going out. The job closing and the invoice being written.
Photos
The tech takes them on site in Steddy Crew, and they land on the job for the office.
Notes
Each one stamped with the time and the name of whoever wrote it, in the office or in the field.
Parts
Picked from your parts list, with what each one cost you and what you charge for it. Parts the tech paid for are marked, so the office knows who to pay back.
Quotes, payments and the invoice
Every quote sent on the job, every payment taken against it, and its invoice.
Where it came from
The lead source, and the campaign or web form if there was one. It comes across from the lead when the job is booked.
What it made
On the job's Finance tab: profit after parts, tolls, card fees and the tech's commission.
