The tech's whole day on one phone.
Steddy Crew is the technician app. Accept the job, On my way, Start, Finish with the customer's signature, and the office sees each step. In a basement with no signal it keeps working and sends everything when the signal comes back.
Fifteen minutes: we walk you through one job, from the call to the money landing, then show you what it made.

One tap per step, and the office sees each one
- Accept, or decline with a reason
- A new job lands under Needs your OK. If the office moves the date, the time or the tech, it asks again.
- On my way, with a time
- The tech says how many minutes away they are. The office sees En route and the time, without a phone call.
- Start
- On site, working. The office sees it the moment it happens.
- Put on hold, with a reason
- Part not on the van, customer not home. The job waits under On hold, and the office knows why.
- Finish job
- Five short steps, below, and the invoice exists before the tech is back in the van.

On the job
- Call, Text, Navigate
- Open the phone's own apps for calls, messages and maps, with the customer's details already in them. Steddy never records where the phone is.
- Add photo, Add note
- Take a photo or pick one. Photos and notes go on the job record the office sees.
- Add part
- From your catalogue, or by name and price. Who paid for it: company stock, or the tech, to be reimbursed. The job's profit and the tech's pay both come out right.
- Quote job
- Lines from your catalogue, a note to the customer, then Send by email or Sign on my phone. How quotes get signed on the driveway.
- Take deposit
- Against an accepted quote, recorded on the job so the invoice counts it.
Finishing the job
Work done
What was done, in a line or two, and the photos.
Charges
The service lines, from the accepted quote if there was one. Parts used, at your sell price. A discount, with its reason on the invoice. GST worked out. Tolls recorded for the job's profit and never invoiced.
Payment
The tech records what the homeowner paid: cash, card or EFTPOS on your own terminal, bank transfer, or invoice later. Cash is counted with the customer and settled with the office.
Signature
The customer's name and their signature drawn on the phone, accepting the work and the charges. Customer not present? Skip it, and it says so.
Complete job
One tap. The job is posted to the office and the invoice is written from it, marked paid if it was paid on the spot.

No signal in the basement
Today's jobs, the week ahead, each job's details, quotes, photos and your parts catalogue are on the phone before the tech needs them. Every tap the tech makes without signal waits in order and sends itself when the signal comes back. A Sync screen shows what's waiting and what couldn't be saved, with Retry.
Three things need signal: taking a payment, signing a quote on the phone, and sending an email. Without it, the job finishes as Invoice later and the office follows up on the payment.
Up to date. All your changes have reached the office.
Getting your techs on it
Invite each tech from Settings, Technicians. They sign in on their phone and their jobs are there. A tech counts on your bill in any month they are sent a job in Steddy Crew; office staff on the phones never count. The pricing page has the rest.
